Children With Special Needs Program
Our dedicated team of professionals at Wayne County Public Health -Children with Special Needs Division are here to help your child with special needs as he or she develops through the early phases of life. We are here to guide you through what may be confusing times and help you find the services that best suit your family’s needs.
From our Early Intervention/Child Find programs to the Children with Special Health Care Needs program, you will find caring and knowledgeable professionals. Our service coordinators provide one-on-one services to determine the best plan for you and your family.
You know more about your child’s special needs and abilities than anyone does. The most important skill we can teach you, the parents and caregivers, is how to advocate for your children throughout their educational and community lives.
The Children with Special Needs division is composed of the following programs:
- Early Intervention
- Child Find
- Children with Special Health Care Needs
- 3-5 Pre-school Special Education Program
Our office is located at 1519 Nye Rd, Suite 200, Lyons NY. Our office hours are Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
