Wayne County Public Health

Wayne County Public Health can provide free immunizations to uninsured children or those who have Medicaid, Medicaid Managed Care, Blue Choice Option, or many of the other Managed Care Plans, or if they are of American Indian or Alaskan heritage.  These vaccines are provided through the VFC (Vaccine for Children) program which is a federally funded program through NYSDOH and the CDC.

For adults that are uninsured, free adult vaccines can be provided by the Vaccines For Adults (VFA) program, funded by NYSDOH and CDC.

Public Health holds a monthly immunization clinic for children and adults from 1:00pm – 3:45 pm, on the 3rd Wednesday of every month. Must be by appointment, call (315)946-5749.
